Keeping It Poppin’: Esmesha’s Top 5 Beauty Buys Under $30

Beauty is a pretty big deal to women everywhere, right?

I mean, we spend hundreds of dollars on finding the perfect products that fit our day-to-day lifestyles. And, through a huge margin of trial-and-error, we always seem to come across some bomb options. As a young twenty-something with massively oily skin (and a cystic acne like no other), I’ve always struggled to manage a’ clear and healthy-looking complexion.

Ever since my college days, I’ve conditioned myself to search for budget-friendly products that provide the maximum bang for your buck. Now, I admit, there have been times where I’ve splurged on a few face masks, body exfoliants and eye creams; however, I always seem to wander back to my “tried and true” beauty bargains. Now, after some experience, I feel that I can supply a little bit of advice when it comes to keeping your face (and body) poppin’ at all times…

So, grab a pen/pencil and join me as we sift through some of my favorite beauty buys under $30!

1) Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E, $6

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E is an absolute gem! It’s perfect for deep moisturization, toning skin hyperpigmentation and a plethora of other uses (including treating burns and chapped lips). I’m guilty of smothering this sweet-smelling concoction everywhere, lol. While comprised of a thick and oily texture, it works wonders for transforming dull skin into melanin that (literally) shines! And, it’s only $6. Talk about a steal!

2) ORIGINS Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask, $17

For my beauty gurus who suffer with blackheads and clogged pores, I highly recommend this next product! ORIGINS Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask is the key to smoothing your skin texture. So, get ready to wave goodbye to those pesky pimples. Get yours here!

According to it’s official description, Josie Maran’s 100% Pure Argan Oil is a ‘natural, organic, and antioxidant-rich oil used to hydrate and nourish skin, hair, and nails‘. It’s the solution to curing dryness, fine lines/wrinkles and loss of skin firmness and elasticity. In addition, it’s also an awesome alternative treating acne. I always mix about 4 drops with my accompanying night cream for a routine nightly rejuvenation 🙂

4) Queen Helene’s Cocoa Butter Natural Facial Scrub, $4

Typically, I wash my face a total of 2 – 3 times a day. Although avid cleaning is crucial to the health of your skin, exfoliation is also a necessary component. And, Queen Helene’s Cocoa Butter Facial Scrubs does just the trick. This powerful mixture does an excellent job of sloughing off dead skin and assists in improving my overall complexion. Repeat twice a week for maximum results. Cop yours now!

5) Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss in Sweet Sunset, $6 – $8

Chapped lips are never appealing, lol. So, maintain your pucker’s glow with this magnificent lip gloss form Burt’s Bees. When I first purchased this product, I was a quite hesitant due to the price ($8 for lip gloss is cray cray lol); yet, it’s turned out to be one of my makeup bag essentials! The pearlized lip color reveals amber tones with a high-impact shine and it’s definitely worth checking out.

Wheeewww! Whelp, that about wraps it up!
