Attention all millennials!
Are you on the hunt for an intimate brunch spot with impeccable customer service and food so delectable you just have to stop and take a moment to savor its sheer goodness? Well, fret not, because Max’s Wine Dive is the answer to all your prayers!
I first discovered Max’s Wine Dive through a fellow influencer named Brooklyn (hey girl!). After we chatted it up at Kia Renee’s recent Get Ready with Me “Beauty and Branding” Mixer, we made it apparent that a brunch date was definitely in the stars. Now, anyone who knows me is fully aware of my love for a good Saturday brunch and Houston has a pretty dope selection including Gloria’s in Midtown, Pappadeux Seafood near Kirby and The Beer Market near West Dallas; however, Max’s Wine Dive is unlike any other.
When I first walked in, I was greeted by two servers with the biggest smiles ever and one was wearing a simple black tee with the phrase, “Breakfast without bubbles is a sad breakfast.” Immediately, I was smitten.
After complimenting one of my favorite H&M sweatshirts and dishing on our love of online shopping, I was shown to a table and given a menu to ponder my next culinary delight. Max’s Wine Dive houses this eccentric, cool and cozy feel that is evident within the champagne-lined walls, the rustic aesthetic of its decor and the immaculate customer service.
The diverse menu includes a wide array of palate-tingling choices including flavorful mimosas, fluffy red velvet pancakes, eggs benedict and an interesting take on the biscuits and gravy stack. It’s a great getaway for young professionals who want to escape the responsibilities of adulting, lol.
During my visit, the food was absolutely flawless! The preparation was speedy and the prices didn’t hurt my budget-infused wallet. So, if you’re ever in the Houston area, you’ve got to check out Max’s Wine Dive!
FYI: There are two locations in the H: 1) 4720 Washington Ave, Houston, TX 77007 and 2) 214 Fairview St #2, Houston, TX 77006.
