False Prophets

Many people think they know me.

They harp on the fact that they “see” me doing well, they pride themselves on knowing bits and pieces of my personal life and they even equate their opinions to rationales penetrated deep within scriptures of the New Testament. These individuals may include friends, family or, perhaps, close acquaintances; however, the fact remains the same, my life is my life. Point blank period.

Now, I understand that my life is examined under this large magnifying glass. I am picked apart for every little thing that I do and, with such avid onlookers, it’s easy to get lost in what naysayers think or feel; however, in my 28 years, I’ve learned that the world is full of false prophets. Spreading lies, thoughts of negativity and expressing infantile ideas that amount to mere nothings. To everyone out there struggling to find themselves with the world at their necks, understand this: You have a choice. You have a voice. And, you have a say so in what your outcome will be. Don’t blind side your successes for fear that the masses will rebel against you; in fact, welcome those that beat against the grain! Use their own selfish means of spewing harsh criticisms and continue to construct relationships and passions that will truly make you happy.

For so long, I’ve found myself questioning why some people can be so utterly insensitive, but I also came to the realization that not everyone possesses the knowledge necessary to handle trying matters in professional manners. The world is crawling with individuals who love to feed on the emotions of others just to give themselves an added edge. It’s sickening actually. Yet, I am 100% ย aware of my capabilities and my beliefs. I’m not afraid to stand up for what I feel is right and I won’t be silenced when it comes to defending those who mean the world to me.

So, to all those out there battling against this sea of false prophets, keep your head up and know you are not alone. They may be the leaders of today but we are building the empires of tomorrow. Stay steadfast on the path laid out for you. Trust me, God sees it all.
