Esmesha’s Life: Modeling on Great Day Houston with Deborah Duncan and Influential Petite Shadana Miranda

On February 26, 2020, I was invited by my good friend and colleague, Shadana Miranda of Influential Petite to model in her fashion/style feature on Great Day Houston. Per usual, I was delighted to take the leap and support my girl in any way possible!

Great Day Houston is a dynamic, local morning show that highlights a wide range of Houston’s most prolific and electrifying talent. Hosted by the super sweet Deborah Duncan, Great Day Houston is a cornerstone in helping to keep The Space City “in the know” when it comes to appreciating the diversity and intrigue of fellow Houstonians.

In Shadana’s case, her feature focused on educating petite women on how they can successfully dress up their curvier and shorter statures, while still remaining elegant and confident. Shadana even tapped the fashion goodness of RW Couture, another bomb Houston clothing boutique, who also supplied all the pieces modeled by myself and the other models.

The experience was everything! It was so intriguing to get a true taste of how a television show is produced. The Great Day Houston staff was so accommodating and made it their duty to keep us at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. I had the time of my life playing “Model for a Day” too!
