I made a promise to myself that I would make 2020 a year set on making myself uncomfortable. I pledged to myself that I would embrace the uncertainties, bask in nervous fear and, ultimately, overcome any and every obstacle that has kept me from leveling up. And, if you don’t already know, this includes being in front of the camera. I’m talking all forms of the camera: photography, videos – the works.

Yet, the perfect opportunity surfaced that will allow me to combine my love for thrifting, fashion and styling. Thanks to the heads up from a colleague and the faith of Ms. Cindy Husband, I am excited and blessed to announce that I will be a guest host for MAM Resale and their “Sit, Sip and Shop” segment on Facebook Live on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 7:00 PM Central (CST). Tune in to see me style up some amazing pieces while giving you key tips on how to slay your summertime looks!

The Houston location, at 1625 Blalock Road, is a one-stop shop which offers a variety of clothing, furniture, home goods, toys, books and even boasts a curated designer collection called The Boutique. Let me tell you guys, I’ve already spent copious coins at The Boutique, just yesterday I scored an ahh-mazzzing Free People dress for only $16.99. You cannot beat that!
