Esmesha’s Life: Getting Lost in Luxury at More Than You Can Imagine in River Oaks

Yesterday, my sister and I visited More Than You Can Imagine for the first time! Thanks to a recommendation from a church member, I finally got a chance to check out this amazing luxury consignment shop in River Oaks.

Located at 2817 Westheimer, Houston, Texas 77098, More Than You Can Imagine is a treasure trove of sophisticated, stylish finds that are sure to excite fashionistas from all walks of life.

Upon entering the boutique, we were warmly greeted by the ever-stylish Miss Vicki. Miss Vicki was immaculately dressed in a metallic monochrome look that oozed sheer decadence and class. Her smile lit up the entire room as she gracefully walked over to greet her incoming clientele. The warmth within her voice was the perfect introduction into the venue.

I couldn’t help but flash my own pearly whites while melting into the plush and exuberant atmosphere. After disclosing to Miss Vicki that it was our first time in-store, we were encouraged to look around and indulge in the high-end inventory. Within only a few minutes of browsing, I spotted brands including I Am Gia, Versace, Phillip Lim, Celine, Gucci, Christian Dior and Stella McCartney.

The boutique’s ambience was utterly unmatched. My sister and I spent almost a full hour getting lost in “ooohing” and “ahhhing” over the carefully curated designer selection. One accessory that caught my eye: a fuchsia Salvatore Ferragamo crossbody mini bag. I didn’t catch a photograph of it, but trust me, it was a slice of heaven!

Snapped a quick outfit-of-the-day (#OOTD) shot while browsing the racks: in the picture above, I am rocking a vintage t-shirt, H&M denim and Dr. Martens “Jadon” platform boots.

As our shopping adventure came to a close, I ended up treating myself to this epic Gucci cardholder. A designer purse accessory has been on my radar for a few months now and this hidden gem fit the bill. I’ve searched high and low on The Real Real and Rebag with no success. Ringing in at only $175 (with a retail value of almost $500), I instantly took the leap to purchase it.
